What is Supply Chain Alignment?
It is the process of aligning the Seven S's ... Lean Manufacturing: Optimized sales and operation planning by managing product life cycles and delivering to schedule and to cost. This was archived by taking a historic and holistic approach to contract negotiation, demand planning. After review and alignment of supply and demand (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly) to supplier contracts, scheduling, sales forecast, demand trends, lead times and stock safety levels (Kanban) across the key areas of flow [product, finance, technology and logistics], we delivered sustainable gains of more than 60%.

Warehousing & Logistics: By analysing and aligning demand cycles / profiles to SKU levels across the categories to delivery lead time - we reduced total cost of ownership (TCO) by re-aligning warehouse logistics and simplifying material / finish goods flow throughout the supply chain - and reduced distribution cost by 40%.
